Friday Day Off in Memory

In memory of the artists and entertainment icons who have passed this week, I'm taking a moment of silence on today's Feng Shui Friday to reflect on life, and how we manage to touch others during the brief time we're walking through it. Selah.

Nice thought Lisa. Mr MJ was too innocent for this world,I only hope he finds peace in the next.

I was pretty broke up about Farrah. Without exception she was the defining sex symbol when I was growing up.

I still remember the whole Farrah Fawcett Majors times. Gods, what a battle of titans that was. I just wish Lee Majors wasn't the only survivor of that particular war, but I love him too.

Weirdly, I have two favourite films from my childhood, and one was Paper Moon and the other was Logan's Run.

I love Paper Moon for Tatum O'Neill's performance which blows away EVERYONE else in the film. But, obviously, her father was played by Ryan O'Neill, who recently promised to marry Farrah, with whom he had had a long relationship. I'm pretty sure that time cheated him. So, maybe a little thought for Ryan too in these awful times.

And Logan's Run, Farrah Fawcett, gorgeous, in a role as an assistant at a "plastic surgery" clinic in one of her first films.

MJ - honestly, I'll wait to see what washes out from that. I love his music, love his family. Not crazy about his choices. Potential wasted, I'd say. I could wish for a fraction of a percent of his talent, and count myself lucky to get turned down with a crust of my request.

I sincerely hope MJ's mother gets the kids. She appears to be a rock amongst a flurry of crazy waves. I'm just saying, but I wouldn't trust a mother that produced babies to order.

Odd week with so many celebrity deaths at once. Michael was a real surprise. Farrah's was more expected, but she showed such strength at the end. I greatly admired that.

They do say these celebrity passings come in threes. Bizarre, that.

This was a nice gesture, Lisa. Three legends gone in one week just like that. Very sad. My thoughts are with all their loved ones mourning them.
