Dr. Seuss Wrote...My Book??

Just when I thought I've seen it all...

A mere twenty-four hours into riding the high a new author experiences when debuting their first novel, I received a complaint from a Borders in Illinois. Seems they tried to order copies of Visions for their store, but couldn't find it. Curious, I did a little recon on my listings. It went something like this:

Publisher site....CHECK.

Amazon.com.....CHECK.
Barnes&Noble...HUH?
What's wrong with this picture:

Seems that my book was actually published and illustrated by none other than Theodore Seuss Geisel, aka "Dr. Seuss!"

I wonder what fans would think to know that the author of The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs&Ham switched to paranormal romance...

fifteen years after his death!

Thought I'd share this to give you all a laugh. It's not every day that a world famous writer tries to take credit for a newcomer's work...posthumously!
I've contacted my publisher, who is working with the distributor to fix the error. Meanwhile, Visions is available on Amazon, or my publisher site: Draumr Publishing.

omg! That is too funny! That Sam I Am, That Sam I Am, I do not like Green Psychics & Ham! lol!
Congrats on the new release - do we say 'break a leg' for an author? Or rather, don't break a nail! :) I hope the book does blazing business - I can't wait to scoff & brag that I've known you since the invention of the finger-com. *grins*

A quick update...after THREE WEEKS' worth of hair pulling by my publisher, B&N finally changed the listing. So VISIONS is now available at booksellers here, and there, and EVERYWHERE. heh.
